To post listing of your apartment or house for rent click "Post Rental" from landlord dashboard. You will be taken to a new screen where you fill in the rental property details, select a "photos" option, choose dates for showings and preview the listing. Once you are satisfied, click on the Finish button. Your listing will go live as soon as we have reviewed that it meets our guidelines.
More photos can be uploaded or existing photos removed at any time after the property details form has been submitted.
Basic rental listings on RentWell.Ca are free, and you can submit as many rental listings as you like. The listing is active for 30 days and you can upload up to 10 property pictures, include rental incentives, schedule tenant open houses as well as accept tenant rental applications.
The premium rental listing costs $9.95 each that includes premium features. Using premium listing service, landlords, multi family owners, property management companies and REITs can reach 10X more renters through feature listing and posting of their listings on multiple rental platforms that includes, RentWell.Ca, Zumper.Ca, Rentals..Ca and Facebook Marketplace.

RentWell.Ca attracts over 8000 quality renters from across Alberta. To further promote your house or apartment rental listing, click on Feature Listing button when you post the rental. You will be asked to pay a small fee to feature your house or apartment rental on RentWell.Ca. Complete the payment online using your preferred payment method. Your listing will now appear on top of search results as a featured listing helping you get more tenant views and interest to rent!
Your featured apartment or house rental listing is valid for 30 days. You can renew the promotion as often as you like until the property is rented and is archived. At the end of the featured duration if you choose not to renew, your listing will appear as a regular posting.
We accept photos in these formats: JPG, TIF,
PNG, BMP, GIF.
You can change the ad whenever you like. Once you are logged in,go to the Listings area, click on View More and select the Edit button.
From the Leads and Applicants area, or at the bottom of the Listing, you can monitor the number of views your listing has received. You can also see this information conveniently from your dashboard.
The landlord dashboard offers you an easy and efficient means to manage all your listings on RentWell. To access the dashboard, click on the Dashboard link on the main page. You can see messages from interested applicants, requests for showings, your listings and information tools, all in one place.
The Tools section in
the dashboard allows you to view a history of all payments made, FAQs as well
as market statistics and trends
Once an interested renter contacts you with
questions or set up a viewing, you will see their messages on your dashboard in
the Messages section. You can reply with the relevant information and it will
be delivered to the renter's email address. You can also contact renters via
the Leads and Applicants page and take further actions to close the deal
Once you receive an application, you can request a credit check action from the renter. Prospective renters will be able to upload credit check report to their profile or send it directly to you using the contact function.
Once your property is rented, you can update the status by simply checking the Rented checkbox on your listing. The listing will be archived in your account.
No. You can browse through all listings for free, including using keyword searches to narrow down the apartment of your choice. You will need to register in order submit your rental application. Once you register, you can apply for any listing, save your favorite apartments and update your communication information so that landlords can get in touch with you.
You do not have to be a registered user to search for an apartment. Just use the friendly search tools on the front page of the website or mobile app, enter your search preferences and browse through the search results. You can also search on keywords such as areas or communities.
RentWell’s search results will display a list of properties with a map view, side by side. The interactive map will also show the different neighborhoods in the area and each pin will show the number of listings that match your criteria in each area.
If you’re not finding properties when you search, you may need to broaden your search criteria. For example, try searching for all properties in your area and then narrow down based on your budget and type of amenities you are looking for.
New listing alerts allow registered renters to save their search criteria for their preferred house or apartment for rent using the Save Search option on property search page. New property listings matching renter criteria are instantly delivered to the registered email address with a link a to the property listing.
You can easily add up to 10 active listings as your favorites to revisit them later or get in touch with the landlord. Just click the favorite button next to your desired property listing.
Your favorite listings are saved to your renter dashboard for easy access. You will also be notified via email if the status or price of the listing changes.Once the rental listing is archived or terminated, the listing will be automatically removed from your dashboard.
Once youclick on "Map Search" you will be taken to an interactive map page. You can search on properties within a specific area or community by entering search keywords.
The search results will appear in a map view with property listings pinned on the map. You can see more information about the property using the list view on the right of the same page.
Walk Score measures the walkability of any address using a patented system from Walk Score (https://www.walkscore.com/methodology.shtml). The walk score indicates a level of community amenities (e.g. Schools, shopping, hospitals, transit etc.) within walking distance of a rental listing. You can see the walk score of each listing on the main listing page.
Select the Fill Rental Application Form link from the property listing.
On the application screen, you will need to fill out the required information of the application form. The information requested includes standard application questions, such as contact information, residence and employment history, personal references and tenancy information. You will then be able to submit your application.
Once you register, you can contact the property landlord directly from a listing. To do that, click on the Contact Landlord button. In the following screen, fill out brief information about yourself and send your interest and questions about the rental to the property landlord. The message will be delivered to the landlord instantly.
If you like the property and would like to schedule a viewing, you can check out available showing dates and times to choose the one works best for you. The landlord will get an instant notification to confirm. Once landlord confirms, you'll be notified by an email!
When you request to Schedule a Property Showing or apply, RentWell.Ca delivers your information to the landlord immediately. The landlords review your information and will decide to contact you at their earliest.
If the property landlord has scheduled an open
house for the house or apartment for rent listed, you can see the schedule on the listing. Select a date and time slot available that is convenient for you to send
a notification to the property landlord to confirm. Once landlord confirms, you'll be notified by email. You can also get in touch directly using
